COVID-19

It is important to note that Max Performance Volleyball Club will be following all state guidelines for COVID-19 safety.  It is important to MPVC that we limit risk for our players, families, and coaches, while prioritizing the safety of our players and staff. We ask for your patience and support in making this a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Important things to note:

  • Only players and coaches will be allowed in the courts playing area. Parents, if you need to speak to your player or staff, please wear a mask while maintaining a 6ft distance or more from other players and staff. When dropping off or picking up your player please remain outside the facility.

  • Masks and distancing are required for players when they are not engaged in physical activity. This includes, but not limited to-

    • Drop off/Pick up

    • Any team meetings

    • If you arrive early and are hanging out with teammates

  • All Coaches and Staff will be required to wear a mask.

  • The Massachusetts guideline for the number of players is: "For team and group sports, no more than 25 players or participants can be on a single playing surface/area/court at any one time."  This will be the top priority when organizing tryouts and practice.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available to all athletes. We do encourage you to bring your own as you see fit.

  • Players will be instructed to avoid unnecessary contact. Specifically -

    • High fives

    • Team huddles

    • Post point celebrations

  • All players will be asked to bring their own water bottle, clearly marked as their own.

  • If you are feeling sick, running a fever, or have a positive Covid test please do not attend.

  • If you have been around anyone who is feeling sick, running a fever, or has had a positive Covid test, please do not attend.

  • Because we are required to follow state covid guidelines, any players or families that do not follow our safety guidelines might not be allowed to participate.
