Welcome to mPvc

Max Performance Volleyball Club offers two competitive indoor programs designed to meet athletes at different stages of their volleyball development. Whether your athlete is looking for a competitive club experience or ready for the increased commitment and travel of Premier volleyball, MPVC provides experienced coaching, quality training, and opportunities to compete throughout the region.

PREMIER LEVEL TRYOUTS

November 14 & 15, 2026

Premier is our highest level of competition and includes an increased practice and tournament commitment.

CLUB LEVEL TRYOUTS

November 21 & 22, 2026

Club Level provides a competitive season with a more flexible practice and travel commitment.

​

Athletes should register for the highest level they wish to be considered for. Athletes who are not selected for a Premier roster are encouraged to return the following weekend for Club Level Tryouts on November 21 & 22.

No additional tryout registration fee is required.

Location: GNBVT Field House – 1121 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, MA 02745

Times: TBD (younger athletes typically scheduled earlier in the day)

Specific tryout times and age-group assignments will be released prior to tryout weekend.​​​

TRYOUT REGISTRATION

Registration for the 2026–2027 Indoor Season closes November 7, 2026

SEPTEMBER EARLY BIRD — $75 (Save $50)

OCTOBER — $100 (Save $25)

NOVEMBER — $125

Registration fees help cover gym rental, coaching and evaluation time, staffing, and the preparation required to provide each athlete with a thorough and fair evaluation.

**Registration fees are non-refundable after October 31, 2026 and do not guarantee team placement. Athletes not selected for Premier may attend Club Level Tryouts the following weekend at no additional fee.**​

LEVELS

Our Club Level program is a competitive but more flexible option for athletes who want to continue developing their volleyball skills, compete throughout the NERVA season, and balance volleyball with school, other sports, and additional commitments.

Club teams focus on individual skill development, team systems, volleyball IQ, confidence, and competitive play.

 

Season Tuition: $975

Season: December 2026 through April 2027

Practice: One practice each week on Saturdays

Practice Locations: TBD - Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School (OR) Fore Kicks Taunton

Competition: Five NERVA one-day tournaments​

athletes who are hungry to learn and improve with a focus on high school volleyball.

PREMIER LEVEL
FOR STUDENT
athletes who are competitive with a focus on varsity volleyball and/or those interested in playing in college.

Our Premier program is MPVC's highest level of competition and is designed for advanced athletes seeking increased training, regional competition, multi-day tournament exposure, and a more competitive club volleyball experience.

Premier is a strong fit for athletes competing at the varsity level, athletes looking to take the next step in their development, and players interested in continuing volleyball beyond high school.

Season Tuition: $1,650–$2,000

Season: December 2026 through April 2027

Practice: Two practices each week

One weekday practice (TBD) + one weekend practice (Saturday)

Practice Locations: TBD - Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School (OR) Fore Kicks Taunton

Competition: 5–7 multi-day tournaments throughout the season, consisting of a mix of NERVA and AAU events

Premier teams will also participate in NERVA one-day events that do not conflict with their multi-day tournament schedule.

*Final tuition is determined by each team's tournament selections. Tournament schedules and final pricing will be confirmed by the end of fall.

Our goal during tryouts is to place each athlete on the team and competitive level where we believe they will have the best opportunity to develop and contribute throughout the season.

Team placement is based on multiple factors, including skill level, position, athletic ability, volleyball IQ, coachability, team needs, and overall roster composition.

Tryout registration does not guarantee placement on an MPVC roster.

Athletes selected for a team will receive additional information regarding roster acceptance, tuition, practices, uniforms, memberships, and season expectations.

Players are placed on teams based on USAV's defined age groups and their skill level. Dependent on a player's birth date, players may qualify for a USAV age group starting at 14U (14 and under) all the way up to 18U.

Below are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about Max Performance Volleyball Club.  Please read through them so you know what to expect and reach out with any questions!

  • What's the difference between Club and Premier?

    • Both programs provide competitive volleyball and MPVC coaching, but the time commitment and tournament schedules are different.

    • Club Level practices once weekly and competes in the five NERVA one-day tournaments.

    • Premier Level practices twice weekly and competes in 5–7 multi-day NERVA and AAU tournaments in addition to NERVA one-day events that do not conflict with the team's travel schedule.

  • What happens if my athlete doesn't make Premier?

    • Athletes who are not selected for a Premier roster are encouraged to attend Club Level Tryouts the following weekend.

    • There is no additional tryout registration fee to attend Club Tryouts after participating in Premier Tryouts.

  • Can my athlete register only for Club Level?

    • Yes. Athletes who are interested specifically in the Club Level program may attend Club Level Tryouts on November 21 & 22.

  • How often do teams practice?

    • Club teams practice once weekly on Saturdays.

    • Premier teams practice twice weekly, with one weekday practice and one weekend practice.

    • Specific practice times and locations vary by team and are communicated once gym schedules are finalized.

  • Where are practices held?

    • MPVC practices are held at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School and Fore Kicks Taunton.

    • Practice location may vary by team.

  • How much does the season cost?

    • Club Level: $975

    • Premier Level: $1,650–$2,000

    • No. Registration provides an athlete the opportunity to be evaluated for placement but does not guarantee selection to an MPVC team.

  • When does the season begin?

    • Season begins December 2026 and typically ends in April 2027
